I only wish we could have spent some time together on race day but after reading this I feel like I was running with the "gang". Sorry to hear about the hives & stuff but at least you had friends to help and medical support near. Going through that alone would have been really scary (JT is one awesome chick huh?). So what caused you to swell up after the race? Do you know of a way to avoid this for other runners? I think that says a lot about runners that you were able to tweet up with some and become instant friends in real life. Great race report and lessons learned!
